Axie Infinity: results for week two

The editorial team experiments with investing in a popular crypto project. The first game week in Axie Infinity brought victories in most matches. It was not without defeats. After analyzing the results, we decided to replace the back planeswalker with a stronger mech. Thanks to the upgrade of the build the number of victories increased and the rating increased to 1400 points. After another 2 days, we came up with the idea to replace the front planter with a pumpkin with a plant with a watering can. This would increase the number of cards for energy production.

Replacing the front planter

The distribution of starting cards decides a lot in the game. If the starting combination is weak, the chances of winning are greatly reduced.

With the mech on the back line, the session is less dependent on the cards going in. There are more options for drawing starting combinations.

The main task of the front planter is to generate energy for the mech and fish. The current build used 2 cards for this purpose. A plant with 3 cards will be able to generate more energy to strengthen the team. Therefore, it was decided to replace the front planter with a more efficient counterpart with a watering can.

To realize the idea the following actions are taken:

• The current planta was sold on the marketplace for $33.
• A new beast with improved functions was bought with the proceeds. Additional investments amounted to $15.

The new build has met expectations. After 4 test days the number of match wins significantly exceeded the number of losses. The team’s rating on the arena increased to 1631 points.
