Analysts examined major institutions’ predictions about the future value of bitcoin

Bitcoin

Researchers from CoinMarketCap have published an infographic showing the latest forecasts of major global investment funds on the future value of bitcoin cryptocurrency (BTC). They reflected different visions of the digital coin’s prospects. For example, by the end of 2024, analysts from CryptoQuant expect a price of $141,000, while representatives of Standard Chartered Bank and Matrixport give a more cautious forecast – $125,000. Former CEO of BitMEX Arthur Hayes suggests that bitcoin will reach $250,000 by 2025. Pantera Capital employees give a more modest figure of $117,000 by August of the same year. Analysts at Bitwise and Alliance Bernstein believe that by 2026 the value of the cryptocurrency could rise to $200,000. Long-term forecasts look even more ambitious. Ark Invest predicts that bitcoin will reach a price point of $650,000 by as early as 2030. Investment company VanEck calls the currently unbelievable $2.9 million by 2050, attributing it to a gradual reduction in issuance and growing demand. Experts note that such forecasts are based on different models of analysis. For example, Ark Invest emphasizes institutional acceptance of bitcoin, while VanEck focuses on long-term macroeconomic trends. However, the risks of the cryptocurrency market cannot be ignored. High volatility and the possibility of regulatory changes can have a significant impact on the price of an asset. Investors should consider these factors when evaluating such forecasts. Despite the difference in expectations, most funds agree on one thing: bitcoin remains a key asset in the cryptocurrency industry with high growth potential. According to 98% of global analysts, the quotes of the digital coin will only grow.
