Kraken platform launched desktop application – an improved analog of Cryptowatch

Kraken
The Kraken cryptocurrency exchange has introduced a new desktop application for traders – Kraken Desktop. It is aimed at active users and offers a fully customizable interface that allows you to track dozens of trading pairs in real time and use unique tools for market analysis. Kraken Desktop is a response to the closure of the popular Cryptowatch terminal last year. The new product provides access to all Kraken spot and futures markets and includes improved charts and technical tools. The developed app is designed to provide an advanced and comprehensive cryptocurrency trading experience. It allows traders to not only observe market movements, but also flexibly customize the working environment to suit their needs. Inspired by the Cryptowatch closed terminal, the app is built from the ground up to offer users a new level of interaction with the market. Kraken co-founder Jesse Powell had previously stated the possibility of continuing to work with Cryptowatch, looking at paid access options, but the service was shut down and users were encouraged to move to the new Kraken Pro platform.

“Over the past 10 years, we’ve worked hard to build some of the best trading and analysis tools in the cryptocurrency industry,” said Kraken Co-CEO David Ripley. “Kraken Desktop is the next step in our commitment to providing customers with the best possible features and functionality

. “Kraken Desktop is built on Rust technology, which provides low latency and high stability. This makes the application particularly useful for responding quickly to market changes. The program supports Windows, Mac and Linux, and offers multitasking features and advanced tools such as ladder trading and automatic two-sided orders for convenient order placement in changing market conditions.
