The post claimed that Donald Trump raised the topic of taxation of digital assets during one of his interviews. As a result, this post went viral among various crypto-enthusiasts. Over the past week, Trump has participated in two interviews with podcasters Joe Rogan and Sean Hannity on Fox News. Indeed, Donald Trump has floated the idea of potentially eliminating the federal income tax. But he hasn’t specifically talked about cryptocurrencies. It turns out that among many figures in the digital asset segment, the initially fake post curdled.
