Experts assessed the activity of Telegram Mini Apps users

Telegram

Telegram Mini Apps have become a popular tool for engaging with blockchain applications. However, data shows that user engagement on messenger far exceeds engagement at the blockchain level. Researchers analyzed the most popular Mini Apps to understand how they leverage blockchain capabilities and interact with audiences. MemeFi was among the leaders, with a 7.955% engagement rate between active users on the blockchain and Telegram. This indicates a highly engaged audience, with almost every 12th Telegram user actively using blockchain features. In second place is Yescoin with 4.665%, and the 3rd place is occupied by SEED with a coefficient of 0.6203%. On the opposite side of the list is Hamster Kombat. Its ratio was only 0.0027%, which demonstrates the weak integration of blockchain functionality with the audience in the messenger. Boinkers showed a slightly better result with 0.05483%. These metrics suggest a need to refine the mechanics of user engagement and retention. This

kind of data offers an important signal to developers. High engagement rates, like those of MemeFi and Yescoin, indicate a well-built engagement strategy. Weak performance from Hamster Kombat and Boinkers underscores the need to analyze target audiences and improve user experience.

Telegram, as one of the largest platforms, provides an excellent opportunity to scale blockchain applications. However, data shows that simple access via messenger does not guarantee success. Developers need to focus on creating a unique experience for users. The growing popularity of Mini Apps opens up prospects for blockchain development in the mass segment.
